A Sparrow Hawk over the valley this morning as I was walking to Carn Barges.
A cock Pheasant calling along the path from Huers, while walking this section I noticed a patch of colour on top of one of the hedges and about to check what it was with my binoculars when it suddenly uncurled into a Fox, he was obviously asleep in the early morning sun and must have sensed something.
He sat up very straight and sat looking at me but was unafraid and watched me for several minutes then decided I was very boring and quietly moved away.
